Meet Dixie! Dixie has the best little personality.  Her owner needed to go into a nursing home so poor Dixie is now finding herself needing a new forever home. She is 13 years old and weighs 9.5 lbs. She is working on her waistline by losing a little weight. Dixie gets super excited for short leash walks. She  loves to go outside for a short potty break, and loves to come back inside. This can become a little game with her asking to go outside a lot by pacing, cooing, and hovering at the door, but is easily redirected. She gets very excited at meal time :-)  She is very easy going, gentle, good natured, and sweet. Loves to be patted and held. When you come home she wags her tail and greets you excitedly. She gets along well with other small dogs. Dixie is fully potty trained to use both a pee pad and go outside. She does prefer someone to be home a lot with her as that is what she has always been use to. Dixie can easily be an only dog or would be fine with another small dog.
